A beautiful ride along the Delaware River!
Join us for a beautiful ride behind our historic railroad equipment. All year long you can ride along the beautiful Delaware river departing from Phillipsburg New Jersey. In May and june ride behind our histoiric diesel locomotives.After the thire weej in June to the end of October marvel at the sights and sounds of our Steam locomotive #142.
Take a ride back to the Jurassic Period and discover the magic of Dinosaurs! At the station in Phillipsburg marvel at our field paleontologists tales of discovery and stand in awe in the size of the real dinosaur skeleton "Mr. Nixon". laugh at the antics of Scott Wagstaff, Ventriloquist and his zaney animals. Ride our steam train for a trip back in time to the Ol' Susquehanna Mine where you will have a fun, interactive tour and history of the mine. You will also be able to pan for real fossils, you can keep!

Take a private tour of lovely gardens located on historic
properties in Pohatcong Township.
Start with a train ride ride along the scenic banks of the Delaware River where you will pass quaint hamlets, farms, historic lime kilns and beautiful river views.
Next a bus will take you to three gardens that will delight your eyes and nose and inspire you with gardening ideas.
To finish, you will be treated to a wine tastings at Villa Milagro Vineyards with hot hors d'oeuvres.
A boxed lunch is included in the day.
Gemstone Panning is a great activity for all ages.
Participants may find up to 11 ounces of gemstones in a
single bag which may include amethyst, rubies, rose quartz,
emeralds, crystals, and an arrowhead. All gems are of high
quality and may be suitable for cutting, polishing, and
mounting. With every mine train ticker you will receive one
bag of mining ore from the Ole' Susquehanna Mine.
Upon arriving at the mine site your guide will tell you the story of Sylas Smith and how he found the mine and about his tragic death which left the mind uncovered until this very year! Next you will walk over the the Ol' Susquehanna mines operating sluice and learn how to pan for gem stones. once you understand how to pan give it a try and see if you can find some gems!
Ride the train to the beautiful century old Snyder farm. At the farm the fun begins! There are two games we can play in the maze. While visiting the farm feel free to use our beautiful picnic grove and return on any train during the day!
